All ISA host families are carefully inspected and approved by our staff. Our team travels to their homes, checks the bedrooms and speaks with the family to make sure they will be a good host. Through this we are able to assure you a friendly and comfortable place to stay in Dublin and the best Irish experience.
We offer host family accommodation in single or shared twin rooms either on a full or half board basis. Full board includes all meals and packed lunches, Monday to Friday. Half board accommodation offers breakfast and dinner, plus lunches on Saturday and Sunday when you are at home.
We have a large number of host families available ready to accommodate you whilst you attend your English language course, Erasmus or internship program in Dublin.
Where are the host families located?
Our host families are located in Dublin City Council and in other areas of the country. Depending on what are you looking for and the programme that you are interested in we will look for a host family that matches your expectations. The majority of our families are located in Dublin city typically located 3km-5km outside Dublin’s central business district. We have families in Dublin 3, Dublin 4, Dublin 5, Dublin 6 and Dublin 6W, Dublin 7, Dublin 9, Dublin 11, Dublin 15, Dublin 14, Dublin 16, Dublin 18 and another close areas as South Dublin (from Blackrock to Dalkey), Maynooth, Drogheda, Lucan, etc. all our families are located close to good transport routes to the city centre.
